BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST FOR
7th grade ELAR Supply List

NOTE TO PARENT: Welcome to 7th-grade English! A lot of thought and experience has gone into the specific supply list for English. The 100-page composition book is compact yet has enough room for the glued-in reference pages and notes that will be added during the year. Experience has shown that a spiral does not work the same as a composition book so a spiral is not an acceptable alternative. The only item I require for the pencil bag that is not on the grade level list is a six-inch ruler. This size ruler will fit easily into a pencil bag and works well with the composition book. Also, students will write daily, so they will need a mechanical pencil with extra lead or sharpened pencils. If your student uses a wooden pencil, make sure he/she has a sharpener in the pencil bag. Also in the pencil bag, the student should have colored pencils or crayons. The folder with pockets and fasteners will hold a monthly calendar and any other papers that need to be seen by parents.
